So, just a few days ago, we had our first winter storm of the year, and there is snow everywhere. Sadly I haven't been able to get out and take any pictures yet, either I've been at work, it's been to cold out, or I've been to lazy. But!! I will get out there and take some winter pictures to post.
I've been thinking about trying Photoshop. I like the natural pictures, just things you can get from the camera, but photoshopping can add definition, texture, and make things look outstanding. Of course, I'll post some of my work in the next coming weeks, along with some snow!

James and I were taking a walk down a trail, earlier this summer and I came across this little toad. After I took the picture I realized, that there was a spot-light surrounding the toad. I had to be extremely slow to get the shot. I had the camera set to macro (my favorite setting).

I was sitting in James' driveway talking with him when I took this picture of the weed. I'm not sure what the name of it is called. But the sun was going down so it gave that warm color to the plant. I again used the macro setting. I like how it focuses on one section or point of the pant and blurs out others. I think the wood added a different texture to the picture, making you look at the plant itself.
