Canon PowerShot S5 IS

If you're looking for a really nice, inexpensive camera, then the Canon PowerShot S5 IS, is a perfect candidate. It is a step up from your regular point and shoot cameras, but not quite as fancy as a Digital SLR camera. It's perfect for somebody who wants to take on a more professional look to their pictures.
The Canon PowerShot S5 IS, gives you more options, you can change the shutter speed, change the aperture, change of scenes, and of course, you can make videos! It has powerful 12x optical zoom, with stabilized zoom. With 8.0 megapixels, you are able to take larger pictures.

I like all 22 of  the shooting modes and color/light options. But on of my favorites is the Color Accent. You are able to pick a specific color to be shown. It adds a different kind of unique touch to your pictures.
If you like to take close up pictures, it is perfect! It has an epic super macro shot, get close to anything you want!

The pictures (up) were taken with my boyfriend, James. He was driving and I was taking pictures. He was telling me to hurry up and take the pictures, so some of the credit goes to him. I love the way the camera is able to catch the light on the fog, and the detail to the plants and telephone wires. The pictures (down)  are taken using the color accent option. I like the reflection in the water, the color of the geese. Then I like yellow of the sunflower. None of these pictures have been photoshopped in anyway, except for my watermark, they were all taken from the camera's settings.
