Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

A while ago I had lost my Canon Powershot SD 1100 IS at the Detroit, Michigan Youmacon. I was quite upset, but not as upset as I would have been, if I hadn't gotten my pictures off. Since then I have been saving up for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35. I liked the reviews, the pictures I've seen, and I want an upgrade for myself. The saving up has been quite difficult, especially around this time of year. On top of my car payment, car insurance, gas, and food, it's almost Christmas!! So, it's been difficult.
Lately I've been using James' Canon Powershot S5 IS. We're going to go around town taking pictures later today, hope the sun comes out a bit more!

The picture of the sky was taken on a Friday night in Ann Arbor Michigan. There was a thunderstorm off in the distance. The light was from the city around, it gave it an eerie affect
The Cicada shell was taken late this summer, you can find their shells all over the place. They are the bug that you hear buzzing loudly in the day time, in the mid-late summer. They are quite the interesting bug.
